Do you know why Baguio is so well-known? Because of its cool climate and beautiful pine trees, Baguio is known as the "Summer Capital of the Philippines" or the "City of Pines." Baguio, located in Northern Luzon's Cordillera Mountains, is the ideal spot for visitors looking to escape the tropical heat.
My family and I visited Baguio City in the year 2019. It was an unexpected trip to Baguio City. We went there to unwind and de-stress. The ride takes around two and a half hours, so it was not a long trip. The first thing we do when we arrive is checked into a condotel near Burnham Park. I don't recall the name of the condotel where we stayed. According to "Marites," it was owned by the PJ Ponce family. I'm not sure whether it is accurate, but it was a huge room and it was clean and well maintained.
Second, we relaxed and took a bath before heading to Fortune Hongkong Seafood Restaurant for lunch. The cuisine was delicious, as expected; although, it is pricey but well worth it. After that, we went for a walk to Burnham Park to take photos. And then went to the condotel where we had been staying. We decided to have dinner at Fortune Hongkong Seafood Restaurant around 6 or 7 p.m. Yes, we chose this place again because we like it so much the first time. So agreed to go to the night market after dinner to walk around, eat street food, and explore at Ukays. We don't have an umbrella, so we just enjoy the rain while heading to our location. We are exhausted when we arrived, but it was a wonderful night for us because we had a great time.
The last day of our stay in Baguio City. We went to Mines View Park to snap photos. However, all of the photos that we took were gone. I know it was heartbreaking because it was a precious memory, but the camera was stolen. So, let's get back to the story. We simply enjoyed the view and the fresh air while taking photos. After that, we went back to Fortune Hongkong Seafood Restaurant again for lunch. So then decided to get pasalubong for our relatives after we finished eating. then went to the condotel to pack our stuff and took shower. After having a great time exploring Baguio City. It's time to come back home.
I know it was sad because we didn't get to try any of the great eateries in Baguio. Because I don't have my own money, I have no choice but to follow my parents' preferences. On the bright side. When the Covid-19 is gone, I plan to return to Baguio City. I'm going to explore new restaurants and visit another popular attraction in Baguio City.
Based on my social media research, there are a lot of beautiful places to visit in Baguio City. Baguio City is known not only for its weather but also for its beautiful spots and excellent eating establishments. In Baguio City, there are a variety of activities to do. You can try their well-known delicacies, and I am confident that you will not be disappointed.
